“Beautiful area where you can get groceries, pharmaceuticals, clothes shopping, or grab a meal. They usually have well planned and maintained Christmas lights, as well, and the kids always love seeing them here. Always has room for parking, too.”

“Always a busy and popular strip mall with some good restaurants/eateries. Not to mention our favorite dentist is also located here. What can be better grabbing a good bite after your teeth being cleaned up ?”

“Surprisingly this is an awesome shopping center. Unlike regular Chicago shopping centers/ complexes, this has a different style to it. Something I had seen in other states, can’t remember where but has that gray style tone to the landscape. Very nicely flowers by the side walk and also good restaurants. It’s as if you’re not in Chicago and visited a different state.”

“Been to several other bathhouses, including the King Spa in Dallas, and although this one was the most crowded, it has a relaxing atmosphere, really friendly staff, and a delicious variety of foods and drinks.”

“Gotta love Trader Joe’s. It’s always just a bit cheaper than you expect it to be which is saying something in 2024 at the grocery store. As always, they rotate products through so, while it’s nice to see new items, there’s always the risk one of your favorites isn’t carried anymore.”

“I've walked every inch of this mall hundreds of times over and I'm really impressed that it continues to thrive, even as other local malls are dying. Maybe it's proximity but I think it's the mix of familiar stores and new. Trendy restaurants, high end luxury boutiques, one-of-a-kind places, pop-ups...Old Orchard--who are you???? Since this is open-air, you'll get your steps even in inclement weather. I recently went to the Downton Abbey exhibit and now there is a Titanic exhibit, I'm glad to see you taking chances and expanding your horizons, OO. New place Puttshack opening soon? Happy fore you!”

“Village Square of Northbrook is a gigantic shopping plaza. Most of the name brand chains are there, offering merchandise at reduced prices.Huge parking lot with handicap spaces. The village square is several blocks along, so put on your hiking boots.”

“I've been patronizing the businesses at this shopping center for more than a decade. Shops have come and gone throughout the years and I am amazed that new businesses continue to open up shop here. I see that the Bear Paddle Swim School is under construction, Rock Star Nails recently opened and one of my faves, Barnes & Noble, continues to do well here. For the last year, I visit Village Crossing several times a week. You would be amazed at the amount of cars here before the crack of dawn! I mean, you may be sleeping, but I and other workout fanatics, stockroom workers, cleaners, vampires, are all here before the sun rises.”

“I have to take a ride out to the brickyard every now and again when the Lowe's in our neighborhood are out of a certain style that we use. Fast , friendly service. Lots of parking.”

“I didn't visit this place,I just drove by it. But I do love the retro look of the building. The theater was recently sold. I hope they keep the building the same! Maybe just clean it up a little ?”

“I work in this complex - I am bummed that the deli time has closed because of covid - I hope they reopen once the virus is tackled. I am grateful for the essentials convenience store - if I have a sweet or savory craving, it usually has something that will satisfy my tastes and their prices are pretty reasonable.”

“This is a nice shopping center of you're looking for mainly corporate retailers and restaurans—Whole Foods, REI, Lowe's, DSW, Ulta to name a few. There are also a number of restaurants at the center, including Pinstripes, Buffalo Wild Wings, Zapatista, Meatheads, Potbellys and Starbucks of course. It can get congested on at busy times so be patient and drive slow. I regularly see pedestrians and kids running around. Electric vehicle charging is available too.”

“Nice shopping center. Unfortunately the Barnes and Noble bookstore pictured has gone out of business. I don't recommend the dental to anyone who needs dentures. I have now been toothless for more than 6 months.”

“This Jewel has really stepped up its game ! The little one on Central Ave & Lawrence Ave is always out of sale items & that forces me to waste my gas to drive over to thus nice & clean & in-stock & friendly Jewel on Harlem Ave & Foster Ave.”

“I love the deals that you can get on the greeting cards. The store is usually well stocked on its normal materials. However it is hard to keep it clean and organized in certain departments. My guess is because they are short staff like many places still are. The staff there are friendly and trying their best in a demanding retail job that is constantly busy.”

“Thankfully the shopping center is successful, therefore the parking lot is always full. Our favorite restaurant is Mizraki Grill. A Hidden Gem in the corner. The food is fantastic. I'm sharing a picture of a Jerusalem Lafa, which is both steak and chicken and vegetables rolled up in the Lafa "tortilla." We had a basket of fries. ?”

“It's a decent Jewel, not as good as the Highland Pk Jewel - therefore, this Jewel isn't as crowded. But, the area has a big variety of different stores & restaurants”
