Their slogan is "A Better Way to Train" and that is entirely accurate. Working through an episode of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, I seriously thought that I would be having daily issues for the rest of the year, or maybe the rest of my life. But a friend told me about The Edge and everything about the process from the initial contact, to the first evaluation appointment to the series of sessions with the incredible Ashley as my trainer was easy to access and professionally done. My trainer ( who has a doctorate ) understood the issue almost immediately and we were on the same page from the first moments onward. A series of stretching and strengthening exercises, along with some occasional physical therapy performed on-site by my trainer got me through the most painful injury ever and back on the golf course. I can't say enough about how good my experience has been here, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for workouts, classes, personal training, sports psychology and advice in a top level organization.

Their physical therapy department aids with injury recovery and collaborates with Edge personal trainers to create a training and recovery program tailored to your specific needs. And mental health concerns can be privately addressed by counseling professionals. The Edge is serious about your fitness from the inside out.

This was the first gym I ever went to that gave me the skills and knowledge to feel comfortable with my own athletic abilities. The training staff is encouraging and creates a safe community that I love returning to each time. Additionally, the physical therapy program and collaboration between the coaching staff and PT team is unmatched, I feel very safe in pushing myself to the best of my abilities while knowing I won't injure myself. The long term results I have found at the Edge are simply the best! If you're new to Glenview make sure to check this place out.

If you want to train effectively and have fun, you should train at The Edge. Mark and his team provide tailored programming that improves flexibility, strength and cardiovascular fitness in a modern, clean facility. When the weather is nice, make sure the garage doors are open??

I left a big-box fitness facility in 2017 to join The Edge family and it has been one of the best decisions I ever made. Mark is a whip-smart owner and trainer who expertly tailors strength and conditioning sessions for individual clients and groups. Meanwhile, Antigone and The Edge Performance Therapy team have skillfully supported me through five separate orthopedic surgeries in 35 months. Bravo to all The Edge professionals!

I have been training at The Edge for 2 years and am very glad to have made that choice .Mark and his team are very attentive to all clients strengths and areas that need some attention. Older clients(like me) younger and anywhere in between-They work with you to be the best you can be! Now with the addition of the Performance lab equipped with talented PT professionals-why go anywhere else!

I have been with Mark as my trainer from his early days at The Glen into his development of the Edge. He is extremely professional and talented with a staff that is always in the same league as him. I have lost over 130 pounds and rehabbed from major surgeries under his guidance and direction. I doubt there is anyone more concerned and caring about his clients while making us move toward new levels in a safe and secure setting. Mark is THE BEST

My husband and I have trained with The Edge for probably 10 years. Mark and the trainers are true professionals. While we train in small groups, usually around 6, our personal workout is geared for one’s age and abilities. The workouts are challenging no matter what level you’re at.In addition to weight and cardio training, we have made some really good friends. My girl’s workout group celebrates birthdays going out to lunchbox and couples meet for breakfast or dinner on occasion.In addition to training, the facility now has a PT arm to help with any structural or rehab issues. The PT staff meets with the trainers so that therapy and exercise compliment each other. It’s pretty great! Three days/week at The Edge keeps us moving and healthy and for that we are grateful.

The coordination between staff members and their caring attitudes help make this training facility stand out. I've trained for 10 years in a safe and fun environment, by skilled staff with knowledge of each client's needs. Exercise is so important for good health. The groups are great. Join in!

I cannot speak more highly of Mark and his staff at The Edge. After major surgery I needed to build up my strength and not being one who ever went to a gym, I did not know what to expect from the experience at The Edge. They do not have a cookie-cutter approach to training, rather they tailor a program for each individual’s needs. With the knowledge I have gained at The Edge, as a retired senior my day-to-day activities are now done with ease and confidence. The team is professional, understanding, non-judgmental, and has one goal in mind ‘to make you a better you’.

The Edge has saved me physically and mentally. The quality of the trainers cannot be matched and the program is challenging. I am strong and in great shape due to the Edge Sport Training! They kept things clean during Covid and I was there all along. Great place to train.
