Nurse Kathy from the Northshore University Travel Clinic was Extremely knowledge about Immunizations & perceptions needed for traveling to Guatemala. She even gave us tips on currency and where to visit. I would highly recommend!!

This is GREAT facility! My Dr's in Madison, WI sent me here for more advanced testing. Was my first time visiting so I had many questions on where I needed to go, how to get there, and where the bathrooms were lol. Many people (from reception desks to Dr's walking in the corridor, to another patient my husband mistook for being an employee?) seemed so happy to help!

Thanks I meant to say 5 stars. They’re the very best there is. The care team is responsive and kind and Dr. Barboi is indescribable. He’s compassionate, gentle, calm, well mannered, funny, listens to your needs and explains things so well. He is a genuinely nice man who cares about the well being of his patients. You cant train that. Heart of gold.

We have been visiting this clinic every year for years before we travel out of the country. They USED to be very helpful until Helen retired. You can now expect to have your time wasted...Even if you are like us where all your Dr visits are all through Northshore, and all your vaccinations have been through Northshore (and the travel Clinic) they will still waste your time by making you fill out the same forms again...and make an appointment and wont just tell you if you need any vaccinations- They have all your records already but still wont tell you anything! Naturally their schedule is completely booked up with appointments (because they make everyone make an appointment) and you will have to wait weeks to be able to come in - in order to find out what you need. I understand the desire to make money but come on people...stop wasting our time. Just tell us if we need any vaccinations. They claim its "for your safety". That's BS. They just want to fill their schedule with unnecessary appointments. We have gone there for years but will take our business elsewhere

I would give this place negative stars if there was a way to. NorthShore Travel Center is a part of my insurance's network, but they do not take insurance. We are responsible to file our own claim. Long story short, I paid in full upfront, filed a claim with my insurance company, but I am reimbursed a portion of the full amount I paid. I've been told by the insurance company the travel clinic is responsible to refund me the remainder of what I paid due to their contract with my insurance company. My bill lists a doctor's name and this is what the insurance company works off of. This doctor has never seen me and I have never been in his care. Insurance pays in network amount and hospital refuses to refund me the rest. Never again I will ever go back to any of the Northshore Health System.
