Hollywood Feed
2672 Green Bay Rd, EvanstonAbove and beyond! Customer service is top notch. They take returns, even open dog treats, back and donate to the local shelter. Kurt, in Evanston, went and exchanged a crate they were out of in Evanston and brought it to my home in Wilmette - in an hour. Customer for life!

Pet Grooming
Spotless Dog Wash
1121 Emerson St, EvanstonWe had a delightful afternoon here washing our dog! Full service was available and appeared highly competent! They were very helpful while we washed, and were kind enough(for a regular fee) to clip our dogs nails when we were done. Would definitely go back, and plan to, many times.

Pet Care
Kindred Spirits Healing Arts
1607 Simpson St # 1F, EvanstonSince this summer, my dog had inflamed itchy skin that he would lick until it became raw and infected. His other vet gave him an allergy shot and then when that didn’t work prescribed Apoquel. Apoquel also was not effective for him at the maintenance dose. Dr. Siwek spent a significant amount of time with Atticus to identify the root cause and prescribed some supplements to heal his gut. Within two weeks, he was no longer itching and his skin tone was significantly less pink. My daughter and I were so impressed that we started taking some of the supplements ourselves.

Berglund Animal Hospital
1815 Central St, EvanstonMy family & I have gone to Berglund for the last 20 years with 6 different dogs. All of the vets have been spectacular, and they do a good job of coordinating care if a pet is seen by multiple different vets within the practice. I feel great about literally everyone there—vets, techs, lab personnel, reception, etc.—they're all fantastic! Our dogs have dealt with a variety of issues, ranging from hip dysplasia & arthritis to pancreatitis to blastomycosis to travel-related anxiety. The Berglund team has been spectacular in treating everything, as well as in referring out to specialists as needed. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, accessible, and dedicated. I genuinely can’t think of a single growth edge, limitation, or piece of constructive criticism. I highly recommend Berglund!

Bramer Animal Hospital
1021 Davis St, EvanstonI’m going to differ from recent reviews. I too have been going to Bramer for over twenty years and my six cats and I loved Drs. Schoen and Swiatkowski.Only one of my cats is still alive and is currently 23 years old.Dr. Malin at Bramer saved her life this Thanksgiving and everyone at Bramer has been perfectly accommodating to her needs and my neuroses (and schedule) ever since. She is now on the correct medication for her condition and is thriving. The receptionists, Adrienne, Morgan and Nina are incredibly polite, efficient and kind ( far better than receptionists under the previous ownership). The techs are kind and capable. Dr.Jimenez followed up the next day with instructions after my cat’s bloodwork was done. And her medication was ready for pick up immediately.Although there may have been some inefficiency during the transition of ownership ( according recent reviews) things are operating normally now.

Unleashed in Evanston
1908 Greenwood St, EvanstonUnleashed has been instrumental in helping us train and socialize our pup. The staff is absolutely amazing. Our dog Korra has been going there for months now for training classes, agility, nosework, daycare, and boarding. She loves it. We also love it! Classes are so much fun and also a "must do" to build your confidence as a dog handler, and build your dog's confidence!!! People at Unleashed are incredibly responsible and I would trust nobody else more to look after our pup. Thank you Unleashed. We absolutely love you all.

Mas Salud Kitchen and Bar
720 Clark St, Evanston⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Mas Salud Kitchen and Bar is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance is vibrant yet cozy, perfect for any occasion. Now, let's talk about the food - pure culinary perfection! Their guava margaritas are a delightful twist on a classic cocktail, refreshing and full of flavor. The Salad fries were a revelation - crispy, seasoned to perfection, and served with just the right amount of toppings. The Salud tacos with their succulent asada meat were a true highlight, each bite bursting with savory goodness. And don't even get me started on their birria tacos - absolute heaven in a tortilla! Tender, flavorful, and served with all the traditional fixings, they are a must-try for any taco enthusiast. But what truly sets Mas Salud apart is the impeccable service, particularly from the outstanding server Brayan. He is the epitome of professionalism, attentive to every detail and always ready with a smile. Mas Salud Kitchen and Bar has quickly become my go-to spot for delicious food, fantastic drinks, and exceptional service. I can't recommend it enough!

Stacked & Folded Social House in Evanston
824 Noyes St, EvanstonThis locally owned restaurant is a great and low key place to find a casual meal. It is close to and therefore is popular with Northwestern students but it has a diverse mixture of students and locals with easy access to parking and CTA/L purple line station at Noyes. The wait is no long and the service is no-nonsense. Dave's Italian kitchen and D&D are also in the same area if you're looking for Pizza or a good breakfast sandwich - both are solid. Stacked & Folded dominates this Noyes niche and it's worth the trip if you want a reasonably priced and no nonsense meal.Parking: Easy parking on NoyesKid-friendliness: Booths and tables are appropriate for kids
